Teaching at the University of Economics

05.02.2019

Passing your knowledge on to another person successfully is one of the signs of a true expertise. That is why we can be proud of our accomplishments in the field of training the new generation of developers.

While we usually present our educational efforts mostly by speaking about CN University, an internal on-the-job training programme, there are other activities worth mentioning, such as hackatons and meetups in our premises.

For several years now, we have also collaborated with the University of Economics in Prague, participating on the Applied Informatics study programme. The courses, led by our senior developers, are focused on agile techniques in web and mobile development.

It is our aim to let the students experience a realistic development process, which is why the assignments for the winter semester of 2018/2019 again simulated real projects. Using common agile tools and methods was essential, just as teamwork and development skills. All of these were tested at a final presentation on the 10th of January, where the student teams faced a code review and discussed their projects with product owners and senior developers.
