Testing in Agile Environment
Hear CN Group’s David Janota lecture on Testing in the Agile Environment in Vienna on September 13.
David Janota, Director QA, will be one of the main speakers at Thursday’s Con.ect Informunity meeting on New Software Trends – Agile Development and Testing in Vienna. David, will speak about Testing in the Agile Environment and sharing his experience in agile development at CN Group. The Informunity event starts at 10:00 and closes at 18:30.
Agile development, especially in projects driven by SCRUM methodology, has significant advantages for customers (early delivery, flexibility), project managers (daily meetings, burn-down charts), and even for development teams (greater freedom to choose tasks, change scope). David Janota’s contribution focuses on highlighting both the advantages and disadvantages of Agile development for quality assurance engineers, mainly testers, as one of the crucial parts of a project team. It summarizes all the known issues (e.g. greater importance of regression testing, automation) and mainly proposes ways to mitigate all the known risks. The proposals are based on practical experience in Agile development gained in CN Group, one of the most successful nearshore software development companies in the Czech and Slovak Republics, offering IT services for more than 18 years.
